Redmine site for ParGram & XLE matters

Dear Members of ParGram,

In an effort to be a little more sophisticated about websites/wikis/forums, a Redmine (http://www.redmine.org/) site was created for collaborative work on all things related to ParGram/XLE. The site is at:

http://typo.uni-konstanz.de/redmine

The site has two projects: ParGram and XLE.

  • XLE project: documents, support forum. The support forum is for XLE related questions. The idea here is that we can give some support to people new to XLE (this was a suggestion that came up during the Debrecen meeting).

Only people that are registered with the Redmine system are allowed to make changes (create/update wikipages, post forum messages). You can create your account, I will then activate it. To simply view the pages, one does not need an account.

Feel free to distribute the above address to people interested in ParGram/XLE matters.

LFG13 dates announced

The dates of the 2013 LFG Conference and ParGram Meeting (both in Debrecen, Hungary) have been finalized. They are as follows.
  • July 17 (Wednesday): pre-conference activity
  • July 18-20 (Thursday-Saturday): LFG13
  • July 21 (Sunday): free
  • July 22-25 (Monday-Thursday): ParGram
The first call for abstracts and further information are due towards the end of September.

ParGram 2012 at Udayana University

ParGram 2012 is to be held at Udayana University, Denpasar campus, from 22nd June to 26th June.

Bibliography gets new location

The LFG bibliography is now hosted by Meladel Mistica at the University of Melbourne.  Thanks, Meladel.

ParSem Wiki at Konstanz

A ParSem Wiki has been started by the University of Konstanz. It is intended for in-depth discussions about the design of the semantic representations constructed in the ParSem project on top of syntactic analyses developed by the ParGram project.

Fall Pargram meeting at Microsoft

The fall ParGram meeting is held from Monday Oct. 3 through Friday Oct. 7, 2011 at the Microsoft premises in Mountain View, CA.

LFG2013 to be held in Debrecen

Rachel Nordlinger reports that the Executive Committee of the International Lexical-Functional Grammar Association is pleased to announce that the 2013 LFG conference will be held in Debrecen, Hungary. ILFGA is exceptionally grateful to the individuals and institutions that have offered to host the LFG conference.

LFG12 in Bali and Pargram meeting

The dates for LFG12 in Bali have been set to 28 June – 1 July 2012. The call for papers is here: http://chl.anu.edu.au/linguistics/projects/ical-lfg/lfg/call.php
There will be a ParGram meeting before LFG12, and the 12th International Conference on Austronesian Linguistics (12-ICAL) will be held after LFG12.

LFG 2011: call for participation

The 16th International Lexical Functional Grammar Conference will be held at The University of Hong Kong from July 16 to 19, 2011. Registration is now open. The deadline for early bird registration is July 10, 2011.

Spring ParGram/ParSem meeting and workshop

The 2011 Spring ParGram/ParSem Meeting will be held at the University of Debrecen, Hungary between March 28 and March 31. It will be immediately followed (on the same venue) by a one-day thematic workshop (April 1). Below are the links to the homepages of these twin-events.
